Primary Residential Mortgage in Newark, NJ is seeking a Mortgage Regional Manager in Retail to lead a high-performing lending team while continuing to originate and drive business.

This role emphasizes leadership without losing production momentum, with dedicated support, a strong compensation structure, and opportunities to scale impact beyond personal book, through recruiting and coaching.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of successful experience in retail mortgage origination.
• Experience managing and maintaining a network of referral partners.
• Compliance with mortgage and fair lending laws and PRMI policies.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train, lead, and motivate branch personnel.
• Knowledgeable of QC compliance.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front through production and example.
• Provide mentorship and group coaching (a few hours per week).
• Help recruit and develop talent on the sales side.
