Job summary

Tempered and Specialty Metals is searching for a Regional Sales Representative located in the Ohio or Illinois Midwest region. In this role, you will provide premier customer service to existing and potential clients while striving to meet sales and profit goals set by the management.

The responsibilities include increasing sales, preparing proposals, coordinating with team members, and managing customer accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience required.
• Valid state driver's license is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales and support current customer base.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and sales contracts.
• Respond to Request for Quotes for customers.
• Coordinate workflow to close sales quotes.
• Prospect new accounts and cold call for business.
• Visit existing and prospective customers as needed.
• Meet annual sales goals set by Sales Manager.
• Execute order entry in the computer system.
• Review open orders and advise on delivery status.
• Input data in the CRM software daily.
• Provide technical assistance for customer returns.
• Manage account services and perform quality checks.
• Maintain product knowledge and sales materials.
• Analyze sales data for account pricing.
• Foster a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with sales representatives and management.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies, and business ethics.
