Job summary

JPW Industries is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Metal to own the metalworking business across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. You will manage distributor partnerships, drive end-user pull-through, and convert opportunities into revenue.

The role requires a hunter mindset, 5+ years in field/channel/technical sales, and strong knowledge of metalworking equipment. Travel up to 50% is expected as you build plans with distributors and end-users.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience: 5+ years in field/channel/technical sales in industrial or metalworking markets.
• Channel Expertise: proven experience managing distributor relationships and pulling through end-user demand.
• Hunter mindset: proactive prospecting, pipeline growth, new account development.
• Technical Acumen: strong knowledge of metalworking equipment and applications.
• Sales skills: proven solution selling with focus on productivity, cost savings, and safety.
• Tools: Salesforce or equivalent CRM with pipeline reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own distributor relationships across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan and build joint plans to grow JPW’s share.
• Develop a healthy opportunity pipeline through proactive prospecting and end-user pull-through.
• Generate end-user demand via product demos, application support, and relationships with engineers and plant decision-makers.
• Drive territory revenue through opportunity creation, conversion, and consistent growth to meet/exceed goals.
• Serve as a technical resource for metalworking applications and represent JPW at trade shows and regional events.
