Merck is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director to act as a disease expert and engage in scientific exchange with national and regional Scientific Leaders. The role supports research, scientific congress activities, and insights across a defined US territory.

The position requires a PhD/PharmD/DNP/DO/MD, strong stakeholder skills, and travel up to 50%. Candidates should reside within IN, KY, WV, or VA and be prepared to work in a remote-capable environment.

Competenze

PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant therapeutic area experience beyond degree.
Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA guidelines and related regulations.

Mansioni

Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs to provide approved medical and scientific information.
Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions with SLs and maintains a medical contact within the company.
Address scientific questions and direct SL inquiries to appropriate resources.
Maintain current knowledge of dynamic scientific environment in AOI for therapeutic area.
