Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Regional Product Development Manager (RPDM) to act as the Matting Solutions liaison across Trade areas, Districts, and Regions. You will support national and strategic accounts, train the sales force on Matting products, and drive profitable revenue through leadership and cross-unit collaboration.

The role requires strong technical sales background, 7+ years in Matting or related fields, and experience supervising teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Minimum 7 years of technical sales experience in the Matting product/services line or related experience.
3 years of sales supervisory experience, with ability to train, motivate and influence all levels of the sales/management organization.
Proficiency with MS Office and CRM software.
Strong knowledge of Matting products/technologies and market expansion opportunities.

Responsibilities

Serve as a single point of contact for Key Accounts within the Trade area or Region.
Develop and promote Matting services and solutions to drive incremental revenue.
Collaborate with national, government, and strategic account managers, and local sales teams.
Provide technical training and project support for Matting products to sales teams and customers.
Manage Matting Solutions Division projects and fleet; assist in asset optimization.
Develop relationships with manufacturers/suppliers and coordinate training programs for sales reps.
Offer engineering/design support for large, complex projects and use CRM tools for insights.
