Job summary

Cengage is seeking a Regional Manager of Solutions Specialists to lead a team of ~10 new business and digital adoption sellers. You will coach discovery, demos, and closing, guide territory planning, and drive disciplined execution across campuses and departments.

You will partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to shape strategy while ensuring strong local execution, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in sales, education, or EdTech with strong new business performance.
• 1–3+ years of team leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience.
• Proven ability to coach sales talent in discovery, value-based selling, demos, and closing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of ~10 Solutions Specialists responsible for full cycle course- and department level new business.
• Coach discovery, demos, and closing; drive disciplined execution and performance.
• Build territory plans, pipeline, and forecast accuracy; align with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Account Directors and Product Consultants to position solutions and support opportunities.
