Job summary

Avita Property Management is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee multifamily communities across Texas, driving operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction. You will lead on-site managers, manage budgets, and implement tech-enabled processes to optimize NOI.

Travel within the region may be required. The ideal candidate has LIHTC experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of housing regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of 3rd party property management experience as a manager.
• At least 3+ years experience as 3rd party multi-site manager or area manager.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of local housing regulations and industry trends.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
• MUST HAVE LIHTC EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple communities in the region.
• Develop and manage budgets for each community and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with onsite managers to resolve operational challenges and meet targets.
• Monitor financial performance, variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Maximize revenue through rent management and occupancy strategies.
• Lead resident relations, retention programs, and community engagement initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and mentor on-site managers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and risk management practices.
• Generate regional performance reports for senior management.
• Support marketing efforts and technology initiatives to drive value.
