Follett Corporation seeks an experienced District Manager to lead multiple college bookstore operations. You will oversee sales, service, merchandising, and budget adherence across campuses, driving profitability and customer experience.

The role requires 7+ years in multi-store retail management, strong customer service and analytical skills, and travel to campuses. Academic retail experience is a plus; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required or higher.
7+ years of big box or large multi-unit retail management experience.
5+ years of multi-store management at a District Manager or multi-unit level.
Academic retail experience is a plus.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
Advanced relationship building and ability to influence a team.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook).
Travel necessary to facilitate store transitions and other duties.

Responsabilités

Lead full-cycle talent management including recruiting, training, coaching, and development.
Engage campus stakeholders and communicate Follett strategies and store performance.
Oversee store merchandising, inventory, and policy adherence across multiple locations.
Analyze regional financial performance, project sales, and develop budgets and goals.
Maintain communication with store managers on programs, improvements, and changes; monitor security and asset protection.
