Responsibilities

• Lead cargo operational performance across stations and outstations in the Americas region.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and cargo security procedures.
• Drive operational excellence through SLAs and SOPs implementation and monitoring.
• Develop partnerships with ground handling agents, suppliers, authorities, and regulators.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Lead incident response and support business continuity requirements.
• Identify operational risks and mitigate to maintain safe operations.
• Manage supplier performance and cost to meet regional objectives.
• Coach and develop operational teams and foster high-performance culture.
• Provide regular reporting, trend analysis, and strategic recommendations.

About the Role:

Based in Miami, Florida, the Regional Manager Cargo Operations will be responsible for ensuring safe, secure, compliant, and efficient cargo operations across the America’s region. The role will lead operational performance, service quality, regulatory compliance, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting the delivery of world-class cargo services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cargo operational performance across assigned stations and outstations within the region.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and cargo security procedures.
• Drive operational excellence through effective implementation and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and standard operating procedures.
• Develop strong partnerships with ground handling agents, suppliers, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions to address service gaps and improve efficiency.
• Lead incident response activities and support business continuity and emergency response requirements when required.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain a safe and secure operating environment.
• Manage supplier performance, service delivery standards, and operational costs to achieve regional objectives.
• Coach, develop, and support operational teams while fostering a high-performance culture and succession planning initiatives.
• Provide regular operational reporting, trend analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive the implementation of Global Cargo Operations strategy.
• Lead organizational change initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of job-related experience.
• Alternatively, High School Qualification, Vocational Qualification, or Diploma with a minimum of 9 years of job-related experience.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated experience managing Ground Handling Agents (GHA) and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, coaching, and people development capabilities.
• Experience in freight handling operations is preferred.
• Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a geographically dispersed network.
• Current right to live and work in the United States at the time of application.
