Qualifications

• High School qualification with at least 4 years air freight experience.
• Previous supervisory experience and ability to delegate, set clear directions, motivate staff and foster teamwork.
• Knowledge of warehouse and ramp handling, Dangerous Goods regulations, live animal regulations, IATA and perishable cargo handling.
• Load control and experience with loading freighter aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Monitor smooth cargo operations at the station through close coordination with GHA and staff.
• Ensure compliance with local authorities and regulatory bodies and adhere to IATA regulations.
• Maintain on-time performance for aircraft operations and prevent delays due to ground operations.
• Coordinate with Sales/GSA to GHAs for bookings, pre-alerts, and handling of special cargo.
• Coordinate with Head Office cargo claims and handle documentation and discrepancies.
