Job summary

MEB Affordable Management Services LLC is seeking a Regional Manager for the Phoenix area to lead an affordable housing portfolio with focus on regulatory compliance, financial performance, and occupancy goals.

The role requires proactive leadership, strong collaboration with the VP of Asset Management, and frequent interaction with owners, investors, and site staff. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of property management experience with 2+ years overseeing multiple affordable housing communities.
• Strong understanding of HUD, LIHTC, Fair Housing, ADA, and regulatory standards.
• Proven budgeting, occupancy, and financial performance improvement.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills for supervising on-site staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to travel regularly within the region.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of an assigned portfolio of affordable housing communities.
• Manage operating, financial, and compliance performance within the portfolio.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, review variances, ensure alignment with goals.
• Conduct property inspections and ensure staff meet performance expectations.
• Act as primary contact for owners, investors, and partners.
