Job summary

The Franklin Group is a multifamily housing-focused organization seeking a Regional Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance across multiple properties in the Hampton Roads region, with frequent travel between communities. The role emphasizes strong leadership, preventive maintenance, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include audits, staff mentoring, budgeting input, and coordination with owners, operations, and contractors. EPA and CPO certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience as on-site Service Manager or equivalent; multi-site preferred.
• EPA and CPO certified.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Willing to travel regionally to properties as necessary.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly property audits across properties in the region.
• Improve maintenance department effectiveness and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor maintenance staff to build bench strength.
• Coordinate renovations with operations, owner, and contractor.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and documentation.
• Manage work orders and use PM software to track progress.
