Job summary

The Franklin Group in Alexandria, VA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance teams and daily operations at the Cityside Huntington Metro community. The role reports to the Community Manager and focuses on timely work-orders, preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and vendor coordination.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC/ boiler experience, strong leadership, and a track record of reliable, hands-on supervision in a multifamily setting.

Qualifications

• Maintains community infrastructure and grounds
• Ensures safety policies are followed
• Experience supervising maintenance teams preferred
• HVAC certification or boiler experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies for maintenance/custodial/grounds teams.
• Respond to work orders and make-readies; schedule preventive maintenance.
• Supervise in-house and vendor work; coordinate with Community Manager.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed.
• Maintain tools and report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
