Job summary

The Franklin Group in Arlington, VA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff and ensure the upkeep of grounds and buildings. The role reports to the Community Manager and supports efficient community operations.

The position is non-exempt (hourly) with responsibilities spanning inventory, work orders, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and supervision of internal and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related experience in maintenance or supervisory roles.
• HVAC certification is required for this position; CAMT is highly recommended.
• Fair Housing Certification required within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies for maintenance and grounds teams.
• Respond promptly to work order requests and prepare for on-call duties.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Supervise in-house and vendor work and coordinate with the Community Manager.
