Job summary

The Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Newport News, VA to lead maintenance teams, manage work orders, and ensure safety and compliance at all times. The role includes scheduling, training, and coordinating with vendors to maintain grounds and buildings efficiently.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, HVAC cert, and relevant experience; CAMT is a plus. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3–5 years of related experience.
• HVAC certification is required; CAMT recommended.
• Fair Housing Certification within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, custodial and grounds teams and coordinate work.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and respond to work orders promptly.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage inventory of supplies.
• Train maintenance staff and review product recommendations.
