Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Virginia Beach is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance teams, drive safety, and optimize regional MHE performance. You will develop maintenance strategies, manage contractors, and ensure rapid response to issues while balancing proactive planning and real-time problem resolution.

You will travel up to 80% domestically to support regional operations and help sustain high safety and efficiency across sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years Amazon RME FT experience.
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
2+ years of CMMS experience.
2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and mentorship to service technicians and automation engineers.
Ensure strict safety protocols during maintenance activities across region.
Design and implement preventive maintenance programs and manage external contractors.
Monitor MHE metrics and collaborate to address system performance issues.
Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance.
