Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager in California to lead maintenance teams, drive safety, and ensure reliable operations across your region. You will develop maintenance strategies, coordinate with operations, and balance proactive planning with rapid problem resolution.

You will travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support, mentor technicians, and ensure high-quality service across MHE and robotics. Join a fast-paced, safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities across the region.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs and coordinate with external contractors.
• Monitor MHE metrics and collaborate with teams to address performance issues.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance.
