Job summary

Amazon's Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across multiple sites in the Colorado region. You will oversee Maintenance Managers and their teams, develop strategic maintenance programs, and drive operational excellence while balancing proactive planning with quick, decisive action.

This role emphasizes safety culture, budget responsibility, and hands-on guidance across regional sites, with up to 80% travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• 5+ years of distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience.
• 7+ years of facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time Exempt experience.
• Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 4+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers and their teams of Area Maintenance Managers, service technicians, and automation engineers across multiple sites, fostering professional growth and performance throughout your region.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, manage regional department budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all sites within your region.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures across all operational sites while partnering with site Safety leadership to implement and audit safety programs regionally.
• Manage capital spending plans, facilitate cross-functional project planning, perform cost analysis, and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards across your regional network.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to support your regional sites, participate in network-level initiatives, provide hands-on guidance, and ensure consistent operational excellence across all locations.
