Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager for its RME team in Florida. The role leads maintenance and automation teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability across multiple sites, including Dayton Beach, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, and Seffner.

You will develop and coordinate preventative maintenance programs, manage external contractors, and analyze MHE performance while traveling up to 80% within the region to provide escalation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work nights/weekends/holidays.
• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience and 2+ years leadership experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience and 2+ years MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during maintenance activities.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs across the region; manage external contractors.
• Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance with relevant teams.
• Travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance.
