Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a maintenance team, drive safety and operational excellence, and develop maintenance strategies across the site.

You will blend strategic planning with hands-on problem solving, supervise technicians and engineers, and coordinate with operations to ensure high reliability of material handling equipment and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or Reliability Engineering with 2+ years Amazon RME Full Time experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed during maintenance activities.
• Design and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance with cross-team collaboration.
