Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager to lead regional maintenance teams, uphold safety standards, and drive operational excellence across the area. You’ll blend strategic planning with hands-on problem solving and team leadership to optimize preventative maintenance and collaboration with operations.

You will travel up to 80% domestically, manage external contractors, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and high‑quality service across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols during maintenance activities.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs across your region and manage contractors.
• Monitor MHE metrics and coordinate with teams to address system performance issues.
