Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Area Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance teams across a region, focusing on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. You will develop maintenance strategies, solve complex challenges, and empower technicians to perform at their best.

You will balance preventative maintenance programs with real-time problem resolution, coordinating with operations teams and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure safety protocols across the region during maintenance activities.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs and manage contractors.
• Monitor MHE metrics and analyze system performance with cross-functional teams.
• Travel up to 80% domestically to provide escalation support and guidance.
