Job summary

Walmart is seeking an Area Manager - Maintenance in Statesboro, GA to oversee maintenance across warehouse facilities. You will lead the maintenance department, manage staffing, monitor equipment and enforce safety standards, while aligning with Walmart policies and budget guidelines.

The role emphasizes supervising, training, and developing managers and associates, ensuring compliance with OSHA and related regulations, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring and developing managers/supervisors.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, Hazardous Waste, Storm Water and DOT regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop maintenance staff and leaders; assign duties and monitor workloads.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, pneumatic and electrical systems and building repairs.
• Monitor expenses and asset utilization; prepare and analyze reports against budget.
• Ensure safety and quality standards and staff training on policies and procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement and adopt new technologies to optimize maintenance operations.

Education

Associate's Degree or Technical School in Industrial field

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Industrial field

2 years Walmart Logistics maintenance or supervisory experience

2 years supervisory experience in industrial environment
