Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dynamic Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings operate safely and efficiently while aligning with regulatory requirements.

The role involves collaborating with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, and vendors, maintaining contractor licenses, and participating in training to stay current with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would be optimal.
• Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience
• Leadership skills – Able to lead, motivate, and develop others
• Communication/Interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills – Root cause and breakdown analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Reporting and analytics
• Maintaining up-to-date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities
• Conducting site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards
• Obtain and secure all necessary permits and schedule inspections as mandated by codes
• Travel approximately 50% or more within the region
