Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. seeks a Regional Pharmacist Trainer to develop, mentor, and support pharmacists across multiple LTC pharmacies. This role leads onboarding, delivers ongoing education, standardizes workflows, and collaborates with leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality operations.

Ideal for an experienced LTC pharmacist passionate about education and leadership. The position involves 30–50% regional travel, full-time hours, and a dynamic work environment focused on patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license required.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in KY, VA, IL and IN as needed.
• Minimum of four years in Long-Term Care pharmacy.
• Experience training, mentoring, or educating pharmacy staff preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired pharmacists.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship across the region.
• Develop and facilitate training sessions, materials, and competency assessments.
• Partner with leadership to identify training needs and implement development plans.
• Standardize pharmacy workflows and best practices across locations.
• Train pharmacists on FrameworkLTC, FrameworkECM, DocuTrack, and related platforms.
• Support implementation of new processes and operational initiatives.
• Maintain training records per company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and department leaders on standards.
