Werner Enterprises in Monroe, CT is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee a regional logistics team across multiple sites, drive profitability, manage expenses, and align with Carrier Sales, Capacity Procurement, Logistics Sales, and Customer Service to optimize loads and carrier relationships.

This on-site role focuses on talent development, performance management, and executing regional growth while ensuring compliance with Werner standards. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Logistics preferred.
• 7–10 years of logistics experience.
• 3–5 years in a multi-unit field leadership role.
• 7–10 years of third party capacity / White Glove delivery experience.
• Experience with Profit and Loss accountability preferred.
• Strong management or supervisory background (7–10+ years).
• Road Warrior with up to 50% travel.

• Strategize, implement, and execute growth of region.
• Onboard, develop and retain top talent.
• Participate in carrier/customer visits.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervision.
