Professional Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Regional Logistics Manager to oversee the safe, efficient coordination and dispatch of crew transportation across the Gillette area.

The role emphasizes real-time decision making, accountability, and strong customer service to support railroad operations. The ideal candidate will manage resources, leverage analytical capabilities, and ensure safety and on-time performance while coordinating with drivers and field teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch Operations or related field.
• Experience with dispatch coordination, crew transportation, railroad operations or related logistics planning preferred.
• Experience with dispatching equipment, TMS, or GPS tracking preferred.
• Experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate safe, efficient movement of crew transportation within territory.
• Monitor vehicle locations and trip status using GPS and dispatch systems.
• Provide clear instructions by phone and electronic means.
• Make rapid decisions on trip assignments and resource deployment.
• Coordinate services with operating plans and railroad schedules.
• Track movements across multiple systems with attention to detail.
• Maintain records of dispatch activities and incidents.
