Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is seeking a Regional Logistics Manager for the Gillette area to oversee the safe, efficient coordination and dispatch of crew transportation for railroad customers from a central hub.

The role emphasizes real-time decision making, resource optimization, and adherence to safety and operating standards. You will direct transportation resources, monitor trips with GPS/TMS, and communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and management while maintaining high

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch Operations with autonomous execution.
• Experience with dispatch coordination, crew transportation, railroad operations, or related logistics planning.
• Experience with dispatching equipment, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or GPS tracking platforms preferred.
• Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the safe, efficient movement of crew transportation within territory.
• Monitor vehicle locations and trip status using GPS tracking and TMS, adjust trips to prevent delays.
• Issue clear instructions via phone and electronic methods.
• Make rapid, calculated decisions regarding trip assignments and resource deployment.
• Coordinate transportation services according to operating plans and railroad schedules.
• Track vehicle and crew movements across multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
