Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is seeking a Regional Logistics Manager to oversee crew transportation for railroad operations in the Evansville area.

From a central hub, you will coordinate dispatch, optimize routes, and ensure on-time, safe service while complying with safety standards. The role requires analytical thinking, decisive judgment, and strong communication with drivers, customers, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with progressive responsibility in logistics/dispatch.
• Experience in logistics, transportation dispatch, or related field preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate safe, efficient movement of crew transportation within the territory to support schedules.
• Monitor vehicle locations and trip status using GPS, TMS, and other systems; adjust trips to prevent delays.
• Issue clear instructions via phone and electronic channels to all parties with timely information.
• Make rapid, calculated decisions on trip assignments and resource deployment.
• Maintain records and report performance metrics to support continuous improvement.
