Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) is seeking a Regional Logistics Manager for the Evansville area. The role focuses on safe, efficient coordination and dispatch of crew transportation for railroad customers from a centralized location.

You will direct resources, manage time-sensitive logistics, and ensure on-time service with strong emphasis on safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, capable of independent decision-making, and comfortable serving as the Go-To

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch Operations, or related field with progressive responsibility.
• Experience with dispatch coordination, crew transportation, railroad operations, or related logistics planning preferred.
• Experience with dispatching equipment, transportation management systems, or GPS tracking platforms preferred.
• Experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate safe, efficient movement of crew transportation within territory.
• Monitor vehicle locations and trip status using GPS and TMS, adjusting trips to prevent delays.
• Issue clear instructions via phone and electronic methods to all parties.
• Make rapid, calculated decisions on trip assignments and resource deployment.
• Coordinate services according to operating plans, customer needs, and railroad schedules.
• Track vehicle and crew movements across systems in a fast-paced environment.
