Walmart is hiring a Licensed HVAC/R Facilities Manager to lead facilities maintenance across a local regional market. The role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA certification, and involves directing a team of technicians to ensure safe, efficient operations across multiple locations.

Annual compensation ranges from 110,000 to 125,000 USD, plus a $5,000 sign-on, with an annual performance bonus, comprehensive benefits from Day 1, a company vehicle and growth

Qualifications

• HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.
• Leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate and develop others.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills.
• Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across your assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections in accordance with mechanical and building codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
