Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed HVAC/R Facilities Manager to lead maintenance operations across a local region. This role drives the predictive and preventive maintenance strategy, partnering with Store Managers to maintain safe, efficient facilities.

Requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license, EPA Certification, and 3–5 years in facilities or related fields, with strong leadership and communication skills. Includes a $5K sign-on bonus, benefits from day one, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence
• EPA Universal Certification
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or a related field
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge
• Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop others
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across your assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections in accordance with mechanical and building codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
