Walmart is seeking a Licensed HVAC/R Facilities Manager to lead maintenance across a local region. The role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA certification, with 3–5 years in facilities management and demonstrated leadership to coach technicians.

Travel is substantial, and compensation ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 yearly with a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus benefits, a company vehicle and growth within Walmart’s expanding Facilities organization.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.
• Leadership with the ability to coach, motivate and develop others.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across your assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections per codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
