Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed HVAC/R Facilities Manager to lead maintenance operations across a regional market. The role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license, EPA Universal Certification, and 3–5 years in facilities or related fields.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field.
Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.
Leadership, coaching, and development abilities.
Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills.
Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
Use reporting and analytics to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure regulatory compliance.
Secure permits and coordinate inspections per codes.
Conduct site inspections to support safety and quality standards.
