Job summary

The Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for the Zarrow Regional Library. You will assist the Branch Manager in daily operations, supervise reference staff, and help shape long-range planning to provide top-notch customer service.

Attention to detail is essential as you manage programs, budget processes, and staff development, while adapting to changing daily tasks and ensuring an outstanding patron experience at the Tulsa library system.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Library Science is required.
• Three or more years of library experience required.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience supervising staff and evaluating performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total operation of the regional library in the Branch Manager's absence.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate reference staff and collections.
• Assist in preparation and administration of the regional library's annual budget.
• Coordinate meeting room bookings and staff meetings.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle difficult issues with patrons.
