Qualifications

• MLIS required.
• Ten+ years progressive operations experience and strategic responsibility in a large library system.
• Knowledgeable in current policies and practices, future trends, technology, and library information.
• Develop, implement, and market creative public library programs, events, and services.
• Strong collection development, maintenance, marketing, and display knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse communities.
• Good judgment in analyzing ideas to benefit customers and communities.
• Ability to adapt during peak transformation periods.
• Ability to present information in various settings.
• Proven success in managing change with short- and long-range planning.
• Support of organizational culture and budget understanding.
• Strategic thinking and sound decision-making under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of the assigned regional library location and oversee strategic plans for other regional locations.
• Oversee multiple branches including Hardesty, Bixby, Broken Arrow, South Broken Arrow, Glenpool and Peggy Helmerich Libraries.
• Lead budgeting, policy implementation, and community-facing programming to boost engagement.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality service and innovative library experiences.
