Assistant Manager - Zarrow Regional Library
The Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer-service orientedAssistantManager at the Zarrow Regional Library. The Regional Branch Assistant Manager helps customers have an excellent experience and works closely with the manager to oversee the total operation of the regional library in the absence of the Branch Manager. The Assistant Manager participates in long-range planning for the regional library; models TCCL’s core value of providing excellent customer service; helps direct the selection, development, and evaluation of staff; supervises the work of assigned reference staff, and oversees assigned reference collections and activities. The Assistant Manager role requires a detail-oriented individual who can flexible and adaptable throughout the workday in the type and location of work to be accomplished in order to provide superior customer experiences.

Status:Full Time
Competitive pay and a full benefit package (medical, dental, retirement, paid time off) are offered with this position.
Schedule:
Monday 12 pm - 9 pm
Rotating every 5th Saturday 8:30 am - 5 pm (Friday off)
Occasional Sundays 1 pm - 5 pm

Physical and Environmental Conditions:
Work occasionally requires stooping or bending. Occasional light lifting, such as three or four reams of paper, four or five books, or other materials (up to 20 pounds) may be required.
Work environment involves occasional minor discomforts from exposure to less than optimal temperature and air conditions. The job may involve dealing with modestly unpleasant situations, such as occasional exposure to office chemicals and/or extensive use of video display terminals
