Job summary

AGM Management LLC seeks a Regional Leasing Manager to oversee operations for eight properties totaling 785 units across six states. You will drive occupancy, manage budget adherence, and ensure HUD compliance while training and supporting site staff.

You will travel monthly, interview and onboard managers, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate with HR and Director of Property Management to address issues and implement training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• At least five years of related affordable housing property management experience.
• Certified Occupancy Training Specialist and Fair Housing training/certifications up to date or to be completed as assigned by HR.

Responsibilities

• Travel to all regional properties seven days per month for inspections and support.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new property managers.
• Provide on-site training and career development for property managers.
• Ensure KPIs: occupancy, receivables, compliance, upkeep, and budget adherence.
• Fill in for property managers during vacancies or leaves.
• Assist with tenant conflict resolution beyond staff capability.
• Coordinate with HUD/state offices and contractors.
• Conduct annual performance reviews with HR/Director input.
• Approve purchases between $750 and $3,000 following best practices.
• Stay current on industry knowledge and required credentials.
• Oversee HUD/LITHC compliance and internal policies.
• Communicate policy changes to staff; manage rent and compliance changes.
