Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Lead to drive lean initiatives and capital projects across Mountain West region sites. This onsite role travels 75%–90% among Chandler, AZ, Nampa ID, Idaho Falls ID and Ogden UT to improve profitability, throughput and quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing with lean expertise, strong leadership and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast or similar industry.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and continuous improvement.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and QC standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and capital investment.
• Provide guidance and training to plant teams implementing improvements.
• Lead and coordinate plant-level kaizen, 5S and lean initiatives.
• Drive layout optimization to reduce costs and improve flow.
• Oversee capital project proposals, business cases and ROI analyses.
• Track project expenditures and ensure budget compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and EH&S to meet objectives.
