Job summary

CRH is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement professional to lead lean initiatives across multiple regional locations in the Mid Atlantic. The role requires heavy travel (75-90%) between NC, PA, CT and NY, working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EHS to deliver profitability, throughput and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies for continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of achieving positive results using lean manufacturing techniques.
• Competency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to apply lean process improvements and capital investments to improve profitability.
• Provide training and mentoring to plant-level teams on lean processes.
• Drive process change with hands-on communication and coordination across plants.
• Oversee plant improvements, optimize layouts, and reduce costs.
