Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement professional to lead lean initiatives across Mountain West locations. The role emphasizes capital projects, ROI analyses, and optimizing production methods across plants in AZ, UT, and ID, with 75–90% travel.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EH&S to raise profitability and throughput. The position requires strong Lean expertise, project leadership, and the ability to mentor site teams in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in precast or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies to support continuous production operations.
• Strong track record of delivering efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and process controls.
• Identify opportunities for improvement at regional locations and drive capital investments.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to plant teams implementing lean projects and kaizen events.
• Lead plant-layout optimization and workflow improvements to reduce waste and costs.
• Lead workshops to diagnose bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Train teams on kaizen, 5S and lean concepts; track progress and outcomes.
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and specifications; manage budgets and ROI analyses.
