Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to drive process improvements and lean initiatives across Mountain West locations. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality and Safety, and involves substantial travel across AZ, UT and ID.

The successful candidate will lead capital projects, develop business cases, perform ROI analysis and mentor plant teams to achieve profitability, throughput and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies to support continuous operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of achieving positive lean results.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for significant improvement at regional locations and apply lean initiatives and capital investments.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to plant teams executing lean improvements.
• Drive process change through hands-on coordination with plant teams.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
• Lead plant improvement workshops to diagnose bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
