Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks a manufacturing process improvement professional to lead lean initiatives across locations in the Texas Region. The role involves developing and implementing capital projects, ROI analyses, and continuous improvement programs to boost profitability, throughput, and quality.

Candidates will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EHS, travel 75–90% across Texas plants, and mentor plant teams in kaizen, 5S and lean methods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years manufacturing experience, precast preferred.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing to support continuous production operations.
• Experience with capital projects, ROI analysis and ERP/MRP systems.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong MS Office, AutoCAD and project management tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and competitive advantage at regional locations.
• Provide guidance and training to plant teams on lean process improvement.
• Drive process changes with plant-level communication and coordination.
• Optimize plant layout to reduce inefficiencies and costs.
• Lead plant improvement workshops to address bottlenecks.
• Provide kaizen, 5S training and lean tools instruction.
• Track and ensure improvement opportunities are completed as planned.
• Translate operational needs into project requirements and specifications.
• Develop ROI analyses and capital project business cases.
• Manage project commitments, expenditures and budget adherence.
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework.
