Job summary

Kennedy Jenks seeks a Technical Services Regional Manager to provide strategic leadership across our multidisciplinary technical services organization. This role aligns technical resources, supports project delivery, and fosters leadership development while driving continuous improvement.

The position partners with business managers, project managers, and technical leaders to ensure teams deliver exceptional work and support firm-wide growth. Approximately 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field required; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering consulting experience, preferably water/wastewater.
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead people, projects, teams, or technical organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to Technical Services discipline leaders and staff.
• Manage performance of the Technical Services organization and optimize resources.
• Partner with managers to align resources and priorities.
• Support delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects while maintaining standards of care.
• Promote technical excellence and foster collaboration across offices and teams.
• Develop, mentor, and support current and future leaders.
• Support workforce planning, growth, and succession planning.
