Job summary

arc After School and Experiential Education in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee multiple after-school sites, staff and programs. You will supervise site coordinators, plan instructional activities, manage budgets, and ensure attendance targets and compliance across partner schools.

The role requires 5+ years in after-school operations, strong communication, and ability to lead a diverse team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in after school programming operations and administration.
• Knowledge of California educational grants/compliance/reporting.
• Computer and tech savvy, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and multiple operating systems.
• Strong, clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively, make sound decisions quickly, and resolve conflicts with mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Experience working in after school programs or recreational facilities.
• Experience in working with ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• TB Test Clearance & Live Scan Clearance (background check).
• Bilingual/Spanish a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites and confer with Site Coordinator on lesson planning and trainings.
• Meet with school principals to plan engaging events.
• Review budgets and ensure financial goals are met.
• Monitor attendance and sign-in/out procedures across sites.
• Lead staff training and coaching for quality programming.
• Ensure compliance with district regulations and reporting procedures.
• Coordinate events with school administration and community partners.
