Job summary

Ruppert Landscape, a leading provider of commercial landscape maintenance and installation, seeks an Area Manager. You will oversee operational, financial, and team performance for a portfolio of sites, driving profitable, safe, and high-quality service delivery.

You will recruit and coach teams, analyze financials, pursue new opportunities, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring adherence to company standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in customer service and team or project management in related industry.
• Safety-first mindset with leadership and accountability.
• Strong understanding of financial and operational management principles.
• Ability to develop and motivate teams and maintain client relationships.
• Driver's license with clean record in past three years.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance operations, irrigation, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operational and financial performance of a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead high-performing teams.
• Analyze P&L, job costing, labor efficiency, and forecasting to improve profitability.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within markets or accounts.
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and contracts for maintenance and enhancements.
• Develop landscape management plans tailored to site conditions and client expectations.
• Manage production schedules and supervise crews to meet budgets and timelines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Ensure equipment and assets are maintained and operated safely.
