Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking an Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts, leading field and support teams to deliver high-quality service, grow revenue, and maintain strong client relationships in a safe, efficient operation.

The role emphasizes leadership, profitability, and the development of personnel while driving new business opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in customer service and team or project management within a related industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in agribusiness, horticulture, business management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of financial and operational management principles including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, job costing, estimating, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, and gross margins.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead high-performing teams.
• Analyze financial and operational performance (P&L, job costing, labor efficiency, forecasting) to drive profitability.
• Identify, estimate, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned markets or accounts.
• Develop landscape management plans tailored to site conditions and client expectations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining client relationships.
