Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is seeking an Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts and drive high-quality service delivery across our regional client base. You will lead field and support teams, develop site-specific management plans, and focus on profitability and client satisfaction.

• Strong financial and operational management skills (P&L, budgeting, forecasting, job costing, estimating, proposals, contracts).
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and financial performance of landscape maintenance accounts, driving revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing field and support teams.
• Analyze financial and operational performance (P&L, forecasting) to improve profitability.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and landscape enhancements.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and contracts for maintenance and enhancement work.
• Develop landscape management plans tailored to site conditions and client expectations.
• Manage schedules and crew performance to align with labor budgets and timelines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Ensure equipment and assets are maintained per safety standards.
