Baptist Memorial Health Care in Southaven, MS is seeking a Lab Manager to lead and direct all laboratory and related patient care activities. The role includes standardizing systems, training, performance improvement, and acting as a CLIA Lab Director as needed.

You will supervise shifts, ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate with labs and clinical teams, and drive operational efficiency while maintaining high quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor Degree in medical laboratory science from a NAACLS accredited MT program
• Preferred: Leadership experience; Experience in a clinic setting
• Minimum: 2 years lab experience in hematology and chemistry

Responsabilités

• Acts as a technical consultant for Baptist clinics.
• Works in close collaboration with the lab and clinical care team to meet and support training and regulatory needs.
• Serves as a resource for lab orders and procedures as well as regulatory requirements and insurance limitations.
• Implements testing and training as needed in order to meet operational requirements.
• Utilizes Laboratory skills to perform and report results of clearly defined laboratory procedures assuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Assists with the training of other employees under the direction of the Lab Services Director and lab manager.
• Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
