Baptist is seeking a qualified laboratory professional to provide technical consultation and lead patient care activities under the Lab Manager. The role supports clinical care teams, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives across Baptist clinics.
The candidate should hold a NAACLS MT degree, with 2 years of hematology/chemistry experience and state/National licensure or certification. Leadership experience is a plus for this clinical laboratory position.
Under the direction of the Lab Manager, develops, administers, directs and implements all lab and related patient care activities, for areas of accountability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to standardization of systems, training, identification of efficiencies, integration of performance improvement strategies, processes and communication plans which support lab goal attainment while fostering patient, physician and employee satisfaction. Acts as a technical consultant and/or CLIA Lab Director as needed for areas assigned.
Minimum:Bachelor Degree in medical laboratory science from a NAACLS accredited MT program
Preferred:Leadership experience; Experience in a clinic setting
Minimum:2 years lab experience in hematology and chemistry
Minimum:National registration or certification in concordance with current Federal and/or State Regulations. Licensure per state regulations.
